LAHORE – According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Lahore and some areas of Punjab could see rain and strong gusts between Tuesday, June 18, and June 22, at the latest.

The majority of Pakistan is currently experiencing continental air, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), and on Monday, a shallow westerly wave is predicted to reach the country’s northern areas.

 

In Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, and Mianwali, with sporadic gaps, are predicted to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms under these conditions on June 18–22.

Tuesday’s maximum temperatures in Lahore are probably going to be in the range of 43 to 45°C. Over the previous 24 hours, Lahore and the majority of Punjab had hot, dry weather.

The province’s warmest locations were Jhelum, Joharabad, Bhakkar, and Gujranwala, when maximum temperatures were measured at 47°C.

The highest temperature recorded in Attock, Bahawalnagar, Noorpur Thal, Hafizabad, Layyah, Kasur, Mandi Bahauddin, Mangala, and Sargodha was 46°C.

The highest temperature in Lahore was 44°C, and in the evening, the relative humidity was 24 percent.
