Mike Tyson is “doing great” in the wake of an alleged health emergency that occurred on Sunday while he was traveling from Miami to Los Angeles.

In Touch Weekly reported that Tyson, who is due to fight Jake Paul on July 20, had a medical condition that necessitated the arrival of paramedics on the plane to provide assistance.

Representatives for Tyson released a statement saying, “Mr. Tyson is doing great, thankfully.” Thirty minutes prior to arrival, an ulcer flare-up caused him to feel queasy and lightheaded. He expresses gratitude to the medical personnel for their assistance.” The claim that Tyson’s medical condition was the reason for the flight delay was refuted by his reps. “It’s false reporting that his medical attention caused the flight delay,” the agent said. “This two-hour delay was due to an air conditioning issue on the aircraft.”

Tyson,57, will take on Paul,27, in a highly anticipated bout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, marking his comeback to the boxing ring for the first time in almost 20 years. Netflix will broadcast the fight live. Tyson will turn 58 years old and be 31 years older than Paul when the two fighters enter the ring for their heavyweight fight. Each boxer will wear 14-ounce gloves, and the bout will last eight rounds, each lasting two minutes.
