Another incident of cruelty to speechless animals has come to light in which a poor farmer’s donkey was shot dead by influential people.
The incident took place in Chakri Mukhiyal area of ββthe twin city of Rawalpindi, where the influential accused took this barbaric step after prohibiting the cutting of trees.
According to reports, the influential accused were cutting trees when a farmer of the area stopped them from doing so, on which they lost their temper and fired and killed the poor man’s donkey.
The police have registered a case against 11 accused in Chakri police station on the request of the owner of Gadhi and have started efforts to arrest them.
Mohammad Nawaz, Saqleen, Safdar and Shakeel along with 7 unknown persons have been named in the FIR.
It should be noted that there has been an increase in the incidents of animal cruelty and killing in different areas of Pakistan in recent weeks.
After a camel’s leg was cut off by a bully in Sanghar, a donkey’s leg was broken in Hyderabad, which later died, followed by a donkey’s ears being cut off in Pindi.
In recent days, a camel was killed by amputating its four legs in Umarkot, while two days ago in Sargodha, a poor farmer’s cattle were burnt alive by influential people due to personal enmity.
