Dubai: On Saturday, the Day of Arafat, a Pakistani pilgrim gave birth to a child atop Mount Arafat.

Amidst the religious observances, a momentous event was marked when the woman gave birth to her baby, who was called Arafat in honor of the sacred area.

The woman and the baby are in stable condition, according to the attending physicians.

The baby, who weighed 3.04 kg, is said to be in good health. The medical team leader at the delivery,

Dr. Amina Al Sheikh, stated: “Being present at a child’s birth is always a joyous occasion, and witnessing it during Hajj is particularly special.”

The mother, who would rather remain anonymous and has declined to be photographed, is being observed with her child for more examinations.

The birth took place on Saturday while millions of pilgrims gathered on Mount Arafat, a significant Hajj location that represents mercy and forgiveness.

The arrival of baby Arafat this year added a special blessing to his parents’ holy trip, further sanctifying the Day of Arafat, which is regarded as a crucial spiritual occasion in the Islamic calendar.
