The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has given a green signal to Pakistan for a new loan program.

Virtual negotiations between Pakistan and the IMF for the new loan program are ongoing and the World Financial Institution has given the green signal for the new loan program.

According to the information received by Aaj Ki Aawaz News from the sources of the Ministry of Finance, there has been a great success in the three-day virtual talks between Pakistan and the IMF and the IMF has given a green signal to Pakistan for a new loan program.

Sources say that a loan of 6 and a half billion dollars can be obtained from the IMF instead of 8 and an agreement in this regard can be reached in the next two weeks.

According to the sources, Pakistan was asked by the IMF to fulfill some targets and conditions before July 10 and Pakistan achieved all these targets.

Shahbaz Sharif government took tough decisions.

The budget also includes an increase in electricity and gas prices.

Pakistan has achieved this success by fulfilling all the conditions of the IM and achieving the earlier targets.

Sources say that since Pakistan has implemented all the pre-conditions of the International Monetary Fund, IM mission is not expected to come to Pakistan for the loan program.
