A formal request to raise the price of electricity by Rs 2.11 paise per unit has been filed in Nepra, CPPA has asked for an increase in the monthly fuel adjustment for June.
According to the sources, a decision will be taken after the hearing on the application by Nepra, the adjustment of the month of June will not be applicable to the Electricity consumers.
K Electric has filed a separate application in Nepra for June adjustment, K Electric has asked for an increase of Rs 2.92 paise per unit in June adjustment, K Electric’s application will be heard on July 30.
