Rawalpindi: Traders have given a call for shutterdown against the increase in electricity and gas prices and the imposition of cruel taxes. According to the details, the businessmen have announced a call for a shutterdown strike against the increase in electricity and gas prices and taxes.

Central Association of Traders also announced strike in Rawalpindi Cantt, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Gujarkhan, Kahota and Murree, during the strike traders will take out rallies and demonstrations at various places, shutter down will be done symbolically.

President Central Organization of Pakistan Traders Kashif Chaudhry said that there will be protest from city to city against the increase in electricity prices, if the price of electricity is not reduced, he will announce the next action plan of the movement.

Kashif Chaudhry said that the nation is not able to pay the expensive electricity bills, women are forced to sell jewelery to pay the electricity bills, industries are closing and business is being destroyed due to expensive electricity.

Traders also protested against the increase in electricity prices in Multan and said that people are not able to pay the heavy electricity bills due to inflation, women are forced to sell jewelery to pay the bills.
