The world’s largest 16 meter long sewing machine is used in this, 1000 kg of raw silk is used in the production of Kaaba cover, there are modern machines in the King Abdulaziz Kiswah Complex for the production of the cover.
Machines produce black silk for embroidery of Qur’anic verses, verses, prayers, machines also produce plain silk on which verses are printed, gold and silver thread embroidering is also done, 120 Kgs for cover making.
Gold and 100 kg of silver thread are used.
