ISLAMABAD: Due to a third-quarter fuel cost adjustment, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has increased the price of power by Rs3.76 per unit.
Due to the decision’s nationwide application, power consumers will bear an extra financial burden of more than Rs40 billion.
The next three months’ electricity bills, in June, July, and August of 2024, will be used by the government to recoup the money.
