Vacations can be taken until June 30, 2024
Between May 1 and May 31, 20,23,195 DYPA social tourism checks for 2023–2024 were activated in the nation’s lodging facilities.
The most popular destination turned out to be the South Sector of Athens, with Evia and Argolis following closely behind.

Up to six nights may be spent by beneficiaries and beneficiaries in any type of lodging from the Register of Providers.
In particular, stays of up to 10 nights are complimentary for lodging in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, and Kos; stays of up to 12 nights are complimentary for lodging in Rhodes, North Evia, Evros, and Samos.
Apart from lodging in tourist accommodations, ferry tickets are also provided at a reduced cost.

The ferry fares are free for people with disabilities. The recently launched social tourism initiative Meanwhile, the platform will be open for beneficiaries and suppliers to submit electronic applications for their participation in the Public Employment Service’s “Employed-Unemployed Social Tourism Program 2024-2025” starting today, Monday, June 3, 2024, at 18:00.
The program’s budget of 50 million euros, up 43% from the previous year, will cover 300,000 checks when it launches on July 1, 2024. Over the course of the previous five years, the program’s budget has quadrupled.
Each beneficiary is assigned a unique number on the check, which is used to complete the participation procedure for each beneficiary independently.
After consulting with the provider, beneficiaries may stay for up to six nights in any type of lodging from the DYPA “Register of Providers” with a minor amount of private participation.
Free lodging in Evros and on certain islands Up to 10 nights can be spent for free (zero private participation), especially in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, and Samos.

Evia and Evros will be added to the 12 nights that can be spent for free. Apart from lodging in tourist accommodations, ferry tickets are also provided at a reduced cost.
The beneficiaries’ share of the action is 25%. There is no fee for boat tickets for individuals with impairments.
The gainers Those who gain are: · Workers having a private law dependent employment relationship at the conclusion of the application deadline or
· insured under their occupational category with the eEFKA, and have made contributions to the DYPA’s unemployment branch at any point between January 1, 2023, and the day before the application deadline; ·
jobless for a minimum of three months straight at the time of the application deadline.
The maximum family income is €30,000. For long-term unemployed individuals (those unemployed for 12 months or longer), the maximum income is €16,000 for singles, €24,000 for married couples (plus an additional €5,000 for each child), or €29,000 for single-parent households (plus an additional €5,000 for each child after the first).
