The federal government has started the formal process of privatization of electricity distribution companies, proposals for the appointment of financial advisors have been invited.
In relation to the privatization of electricity distribution companies, in the first phase, proposals for the appointment of financial advisors have been invited for the privatization of 3 DISCOs, applications for the appointment of financial advisors for the privatization of Fesco, ISCO, Gipgo have been requested.
Technical and financial proposals for privatization of 3 discos have been invited till September 16, 2024.
Applicants will also have to pay a processing fee of $1,000.
