The air quality warning is current for the Portland-Vancouver metro, Marion, and Umatilla counties because of high ozone air quality.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Southwest Clean Air Agency predict that the levels of ozone that can negatively impact the sensitive populations will occur.

Individuals are advised to avoid going out, and if they must go outside, they must not drive and refrain from using their lawnmowers.

Those that need to travel to other areas are obliged to take public transport or carpool and not drive.
