MUMBAI: 27-year-old Anvi Kamdar, India’s leading social media influencer, died after falling into a 300-feet deep ditch while making a video.
According to the Indian media, Anvi Kamdar, a resident of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra state, was a chartered accountant by profession and a social media influencer who used to share travel videos and experiences on her Instagram handle.
Anvi Kamdar, who rose to fame with ‘Traveling Rails and V-Logs’, arrived on July 16 along with seven of her friends for the Monsoon Series tour.
As soon as Anvi Kamdar reached the famous Kumbhe Falls in Maharashtra, she met with a tragic accident, in which she lost her life.
According to media reports, Honori Kamdar was busy recording a monsoon trip video for her Instagram handle after reaching the Kumbhe Falls, when suddenly her foot slipped and she fell into a deep chasm about 300 to 350 feet.
The local authorities immediately dispatched a rescue team to the spot, after which an operation was carried out to pull out Anvi Kamdar from the ditch, the operation continued for 6 hours due to heavy rain and slippage.
After a long struggle, the rescue team pulled her out alive from the ditch, but due to the fall in the ditch, she suffered serious injuries, she died as soon as she was shifted to the hospital.
