Karachi: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding heavy rain forecast in Karachi.
According to the details, the Department of Meteorology has said in a statement about the weather situation in Karachi that there will be no spell of heavy rain in Sindh including Karachi until July 20, heavy rains may occur in the last days of July and in August.
The Meteorological Department said that due to the low air pressure, the speed of sea winds has decreased in the city, and the intensity of heat will be felt in the next 2 to 3 days.
Weather forecasters said that once again the heat and humidity increased like in June, the weather used to get better after the first week of July but now every year the heat intensity is increasing.
On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has released the data of the rainfall of the previous day, according to which 7 mm of rain was recorded in Sarjani Town, 4 mm in Gulshan Hadid, 1 mm in Kemari.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that the first monsoon rains occurred in different areas of the city, now the rain system coming from Hyderabad and Jamshoro is moving towards the south.
Sardar Sarfaraz further said that sea breezes will resume from Wednesday and the weather of the city will change.
