The Minister of State for IT said that when a few services of some apps started to stop working in the country, VPN started to be used, Internet speed was affected due to overuse of VPN.

He said that using VPN bypasses the local internet service, while using VPN also slows down the mobile speed, the pressure on the internet was natural due to which the internet service slowed down .

Shaza Fatima said that the mobile companies are in touch with the technical experts on the issue of internet service, we will ensure that the users do not face problems related to the internet service in the future.

Shaza Fatima said that there is no truth in the news of slowing down the internet service to block someone’s voice, responsibility should be shown in internet usage and communication.

It should be noted that due to the installation and experiments of internet security network system ‘Firewall’ across Pakistan for the past one month, where the internet speed was slow, almost all social media websites and application services were also affected.
