Dubai: Bangladesh missed out on hosting the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has shifted the Women’s T20 World Cup from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The ICC says the event has been moved due to the political situation in Bangladesh.

According to the International Cricket Council, the rights to host the event will remain with Bangladesh, due to the travel advisories of some countries, the event was not possible in Bangladesh.

 

It should be noted that the mega event will be played from October 3 to 20 in Dubai and Sharjah.

India, Australia, England and New Zealand have issued travel advisories due to the recent events, the event will take place in Bangladesh only if all four countries withdraw from the travel advisory.

An official of the Bangladesh Cricket Board says that they are in touch with the ICC as the host, there are concerns due to the travel advisory of 4 countries, if the advisory remains in place, then the question of hosting the event arises.It doesn’t happen.

It should be noted that India had flatly refused to host the Women’s T20 World Cup.
