Washington: The United States has condemned the incidents of arson and looting in Pakistan on May 9.

The spokesperson of the US State Department says that the protest should be done in a peaceful manner.

Speaking at a press conference in Washington, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that we oppose violent actions.

During the press conference, a question was asked by a journalist that how do you see the attacks on military installations by protesters on May 9?

In response to which Matthew Miller said that the United States opposes May 9-style violent events, we support the right to freedom of expression and peaceful protest.
