A barbecue-flavored maize chip that was distributed in Victoria has been recalled due to an allergy that was not disclosed.

Leslie’s Clover Chips Barbecue Corn Snacks, 145g, are subject to a recall notice, as announced on Saturday by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ).

Asian grocery stores have been selling the item, and the affected product’s use-by date is 4/9/2025.

The chips have been recalled because they contain gluten, according to FSANZ.

It stated, “Any consumers who have a gluten allergy or intolerance may experience a reaction if they consume the product.”

“This product should not be consumed by people who are intolerant to or allergic to gluten.”

It is recommended that consumers who have already purchased the product return it to the store for a complete refund.
