Rich Californian who co-founded a Los Angeles-based burn center foundation was given a 15-year to life sentence on Monday for the hit-and-run deaths of two kids over three years ago while they were in a crosswalk.

On September 29, 2020, in the Los Angeles area city of Westlake Village, Rebecca Grossman struck and murdered Mark Iskander, 11, and his brother Jacob, 8, when they were at a crosswalk. Grossman was speeding at the time.

Our community and their family have been saddened by the death of these two innocent souls.
