This mango is also known as “Hapus” there. Currently, Bangladesh can also get this mango in limited supply. A dozen mangoes costs between Tk 3,000 and Tk 7,000.
Hakugin no Taiyo
The name means “sun in the snow” in Japanese. Mangos like this one are grown in greenhouses. Maintaining a temperature of -8°C is necessary. Each item costs more than Tk 25,000.
Miyazaki
This Japanese mango has a purple color. This has also lately been cultivated in Bangladesh. “Surjo Dim” is how it’s called in Bengali. The cost of this mango per kilogram has increased to Tk4 lakh on the international market.
