Educational institutions reopened in Bangladesh after a month-long shutdown.
According to Bangladeshi media, the Ministry of Education has issued instructions to open all universities, colleges and schools.
During the riots, educational institutions were closed indefinitely on July 17 to ensure the safety of students.
Initially, classes in all government primary schools except 12 city corporations and Narsingdi Municipality were scheduled to resume on August 4 but that too was postponed.

Meanwhile, the postponed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will resume from September 11.
As per the revised routine, the exams will be completed on October 23.
Also, Adviser on Road Transport and Bridges Mohammad Fazul Kabir Khan said on Sunday that Dhaka Metro rail services will resume within seven days at most.
He made the announcement during an introductory meeting with ministry officials in Dhaka.
